We are Build the Bridge-Preserve Our Roads, Inc. (BB-PR), an organization currently seeking 501(c)(3) non-profit status.  BB-PR, Inc. includes individuals and businesses, predominately from the communities of Currituck, Duck, and Southern Shores. We are committed to preserving the quality of life, environment, charm and safety of the Northern Outer Banks for the benefit of everyone.

We fully support the long standing opposition to the widening of NC12. It would be most destructive to the character of the area. Building the Mid Currituck Sound Bridge would greatly alleviate traffic problems, provide a much needed hurricane evacuation alternative for the Northern beaches and prevent the need to widen NC 12.
